+Tic Elder Sister (Japanese: +チック姉さん, Hepburn: Purasu Chikku Neesan; the pronunciation is a pun on "Plastic Neesan") is a Japanese manga series by Cha Kurii. It has run in Square Enix's seinen magazine Young Gangan since September 2009, and as of July 2026, its chapters have been collected into 30 tankōbon volumes. A twelve-episode original net animation (ONA) by TYO Animations aired from May 2011 to July 2012; the first five episodes were released online, and the remaining seven came out on home video.
The story follows three students—Iroe Genma, Makina Sakamaki, and Hazuki Okamoto—who belong to a plastic-model building club. They interact with each other and with other students.
Iroe Genma, voiced by Mari Kano, is the club's head. Though short, underclassmen (and some adults) call her "Nee-san" ("big sister"), while classmates call her "Chibiko." She is vulgar, outrageous, and a troublemaker who loves attention and teasing her clubmates. A castle model sits on her head before she loses interest in models.
Hazuki Okamoto, voiced by Yumi Uchiyama, is Nee-san's underclassman and a club member nicknamed "Okappa" ("bob cut"). She is classmates with Makimaki and sits next to her. Usually levelheaded and calm, she becomes violent and monstrous in response to Nee-san's antics. She has a gentle side during sporadic "Okappa Days" and is weak against insects, especially large cockroaches. A train model rests on her head before she loses interest.
Makina Sakamazaki, voiced by Marina Inoue, is another underclassman nicknamed "Makimaki." She is Okappa's classmate and seatmate. The most rational club member, she plays straight man to Nee-san and Okappa. She was overweight in elementary school but lost weight rapidly in middle school. A tank model sits on her head before she loses interest.
Kuniki, voiced by Kishō Taniyama, is a muscular high school senior and baseball team captain. He wears women's underwear and often exposes himself in public, making him well-known at other schools.
Mizuno, voiced by Masayo Kurata, is a 33-year-old health education teacher who still calls Iroe "Nee-san." She is best friends with fellow teacher Masuda, whom she calls "Masuda-chan." She has bitter memories of an ex-boyfriend who broke up with her because of a hairy back.
Azuma, voiced by Kenji Akabane, is a high school freshman often seen with his partner, Student Council Member A.
